Acclaimed comic Hari Kondabolu joins First Person Arts comedians and storytellers for a night that mixes comedy, poetry, storytelling - and an honest discussion about race and being brown in the United States today.

Hari Kondabolu is a Brooklyn-based, Queens-raised comic who has been described by TimeOut NY as "smart, analytical and rising." In addition to his standup, and creating the new TruTV documentary The Problem with Apu, he was a writer for FX's Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Live at Gotham, John Oliver's New York Standup Show, and has his own Comedy Central Presents special.

Joining Hari on stage will be local storytellers and comedians Alyssa Al-Dookhi, Krish Mohan, and Dr. Neil Bardhan.
